Parents' Committee
As a vital partner and key stakeholder of the Antonine International School (AIS-Dekwaneh), the Parents’ Committee consists of elected representatives of the parent body. Members serve a three-year term, elected through a list-based voting system, with the number of representatives proportional to the school’s student population.
Serving as the voice of the parent community, the committee is entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Representation: Advocating for and promoting the interests of parents.
- Consultation: Engaging parents on critical matters, such as regulations and school fees.
- Communication: Relaying parental concerns and addressing students’ needs with the relevant school authorities.
- Educational Collaboration: Actively contributing to the implementation of the school’s educational vision and mission.
- Support for Enrichment: Assisting in the development and execution of activities that enhance the overall school experience.
Though its role is purely advisory, the Parents’ Committee plays a significant part in supporting the school’s educational objectives, institutional mission, and internal policies.
In close collaboration with the school administration, the committee works to strengthen the bond between school and family through active participation in meetings and discussions. Additionally, it contributes to organizing celebrations, extracurricular activities, and educational outings, enriching the school’s cultural and social environment.
