History
The Antonine International School (AIS), a Catholic mixed-gender educational institution, was founded by the Antonine Maronite Order in 2010, located in Mar Roukoz – Dekwaneh. The school is dedicated to fostering the holistic growth of each student, embodying the values of Catholic and Antonine educational philosophies. At its core, it employs a forward-thinking, student-focused teaching approach.
Currently, the institution educates 1,364 students. The campus features a versatile building that houses both educational and administrative spaces, alongside facilities such as a theater, science labs, a library, a chapel, a psychology and inclusion department, a health and safety department, a technology room, a multipurpose room, various sports areas, and indoor and outdoor playgrounds.
Over the past 14 years, the enrollment rate at the school has consistently risen, reflecting a steady increase in the student growth, a clear indicator of the school’s growing reputation even amidst an economic crisis, pandemic, and stiff competition from surrounding schools. This growth is largely attributed to the school’s ongoing expansion, including the systematic incorporation of higher grade levels, leading up to the addition of Grade 12 for the very first time this year.
